Ingredients
3 1/2 cups bread flour
2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast
1/3 cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup warm milk
2 eggs
6 tablespoons softened butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground cardamom
1 tablespoon orange zest
4 ounces cream cheese
1 cup powdered sugar
Method
Combine flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. Add warm milk, eggs, and butter; knead until smooth and elastic.
Cover and rise until doubled, about 90 minutes.
Roll dough into a rectangle. Spread with butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, cardamom, and orange zest.
Roll tightly, cut into 12 pieces, and arrange in a buttered pan. Rise 35–45 minutes.
Bake at 350°F for 22–24 minutes. Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar into glaze and spread over warm rolls.
